A boutique Italian café by day and a spot for wine and snacks into the evening. The heated patio comes with pillows and blankets at every table, which makes it the coziest winter coffee in the Loop.

A warm, family-run café with a secret: homemade Mexican food from mama's recipes, alongside good coffee. The cSPACE location sits inside the old King Edward School arts hub, perfect for a coffee between classes or studio visits.

Pro tip: Grab a jar of their house salsa to go. The cSPACE café is closed Sundays.

Erin's tip: The breakfast sandwiches are the reason to go.

Pro tip: Egg sandwiches stop at 11 am. Open Wednesday to Sunday, 9 to 3.

A tiny, family-run café where the regulars feel like a group of friends. Smooth coffee, sandwiches made with care, and ice cream churned on site from scratch.

Erin's tip: The breakfast sandwiches are great.

Pro tip: Mostly takeaway: seating is very limited and there's no washroom. Open daily from 8, until 3 on Mondays and 5 the rest of the week.
