Grasslands Flower Co.

Melissa's flowers look gathered, never arranged. Her studio does seasonal planters that make a front door, loose and naturalistic gardens, and wedding flowers designed around the room and the light. She takes only a handful of weddings a year, so book early.

Erin's tip: Melissa does our summer and winter planters and helps with all our garden dreams.

The Botanist

A botanical lifestyle shop behind a green door at Edmonton Trail and 8th Avenue. Fresh, foam-free bouquets, houseplants from orchids to bonsai, gardening supplies and gifts, with some of the flowers grown on their own small farm.

Pro tip: Book a workshop, from jam jar bouquets to terrariums, or join the Monthly Bloom Club for flowers on repeat.

Peaseblossoms

Owner Marika builds bouquets that look picked from a garden, not a cooler. Ask for a pet-safe arrangement if there's a cat at home.

Posy Floral

Wedding and event florals from Christian.

Erin's tip: Christian books far in advance, so plan ahead.

The seasonal update

What opened, what closed and what's worth a reservation. Four emails a year, nothing else.
